Chief Minister of Punjab Government of Pakistan Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has decided that the children of martyred cops will receive free education. The chief minister of Punjab gave the announcement. While he was speaking at a ceremony in Lahore’s Police Lines. The ceremony was held in honor recognition of police martyrs.
Speaking at the event, CM Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said the provincial administration was developing a bill to offer free education to the children of martyred police officers. He continued, “The government will also develop employment opportunities for the children.”
CM Punjab also announced an increase in the amount of compensation to be paid to policemen. Who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty. “The government will provide new vehicles for police patrolling,” he added.
Pervez Elahi stated that the government will set up a monitoring unit to monitor the measure itself.
He also criticized the Pakistan Muslum League (PML-N) for supposedly “neglecting” the police. The country he stated, “will never forget the sacrifices of the police force and will continue to remember them with high regard and honor.”
